Chofu City Cultural Community Foundation were looking for a marketing strategy to promote the unique cultural qualities of the Chofu Prefecture to foreign audiences. Also in preparation for the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2020 Summer Paralympics, Chofu City's main attractions were highlighted through various content forms.
The area of Chofu City that was planned to be highlighted was a bit far from the city center, meaning travelers were required to navigate farther out to the countryside. With this additional travel step into an itinerary, Tokyo Creative was able to properly analyze the popular viewing spots of the area from a local’s perspective, in order to showcase the best of Chofu City.
In preparation for the 2020 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, inbound digital marketing strategies via YouTube video were produced by the internal Tokyo Creative Team to promote the local activities and beautiful natural sights that Chofu City has to offer.
Since upload, the video has acclaimed more than 50,000 views and earned more than 200 comments from all around the world who are interested in the beauty of Chofu City.
